OUR PROCESS

OUR APPLICATION TIMELINE

After Applying

After your initial application is filled out on Angel, Handshake, etc. You will be contacted within 48 hours on the platform by a team member to fill out our onboarding form and asked to reach out to Lydia.

Interview Phase

You will be sent the official programme to be sure the terms are agreeable for yourself. Then, a brief interview will be held via WhatsApp for you to introduce yourself and discuss your application further. 

Trial Week

After passing the interview you will join a new-starter group on a Monday and trial with them. You will sign an NDA, get official training, and begin sample tasks for the role you've applied for.

Selection Process

Of the three potential interns chosen to trial, one is chosen to continue.

Beginning Stages

You will be set up with an email, caricature, Trello board, and added to the internal team chat. You will also begin writing weekly internship blog posts for this site.

Weekly Meetings

Your first official Friday. You will begin attending team meetings every Friday at 3pm GMT.

Daily Tasks

You will start to be handed more tasks with more variety and you will be handed additional training to expand knowledge.

Review your month

You will have had the chance to choose to continue on with the next five months and if so you will have an additional form to agree to the new terms and continue forward.

ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS

Get in touch with regular one-to-one meetings with Deepak to check up your progress throughout your internship with Pearl Lemon. A great way to learn about potential new ideas, the company, and much more.

Monthly Performance Reviews

Monthly reviews will be held to ensure that all our interns are on track and that their skills are at the level they need to be at.

Fully tailored training is offered to develop your skills and may also provide new insights into your chosen sector

Regular In-Depth Video-Based Feedback

Frequent video feedback is provided where you're given constructive thoughts and suggestions on ways to improve

Every Friday will be a chance to talk about your productivity and learn a bit more about the team. Share what you’ve learned so far and present your work for the week. Occasionally, we will change things around a bit and play some mini-games to help break the ice.

The role: 

You’ll be responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of all marketing activities, and will report directly to the Marketing Director. You’ll be involved in creating a lifecycle marketing strategy to drive multi-channel marketing campaigns across all channels (including PPC, SEO, email, ABM, social, PR and events).

You: 

You’ll have a demonstrable understanding of digital marketing, and a proven track record of delivering marketing campaigns that resulted in measurable ROI results. You’ll also have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), people-management skills, be a fast learner and show adaptability in a rapid-paced environment.

The role: 

You’ll be managing all search engine optimization and marketing activities. This includes content and keyword strategy and link building with the goal of increasing rankings on major search networks. You’ll work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code, as well as editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming. Other duties include (but aren’t limited to) collecting and analyzing data, and identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI.

You:

Proven SEO experience is essential for this position, alongside a solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition. You’ll have experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends). Additionally, you’ll need a good working knowledge of  HTML, CSS, A/B and JavaScript development. You’ll be able to keep up to date with current SEO and market trends to ensure best practice is being implemented.

The role: 

You’ll be working across our departments to deliver quality written content for clients on a WIDE variety of topics. You’ll be expected to produce between 5-20k words per week, as well as potentially handle presentations and content strategy planning. 

You: 

You’ll be a native English speaker, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal). You’ll have demonstrable experience writing across a variety of niches, and an ability to research unfamiliar topics to produce authoritative articles – as well as good proofreading/editing skills. The ability to work to deadlines and action feedback quickly is a must! 

Want to represent our brand’s voice? Pearl Lemon has a wide range of internal divisions that need regular, exciting content to educate and entice our website visitors! Are you up to the task?

The role: 

You’ll be responsible for writing regular content related to our various divisions. This will include research surrounding similar industry webpages, blogs and articles to keep our content relevant. You’ll adhere to a minimum 5-12k word count per week. Additionally, you’ll source images and graphic content to add to your articles, ensuring they are visually appealing. When necessary, you’ll provide feedback on other writer’s work, suggest and action edits, and undertake any other writing-related tasks necessary. 

You:

You’ll have demonstrable writing experience, and the ability to produce quality content to tight deadlines. Your written and verbal communication skills must be top-notch as you’ll be representing Pearl Lemon. You’ll be able to conduct quality research, invent creative titles, make use of keywords, and stay on top of market trends on relevant topics to ensure our content is front-line!

Want to help our brand grow through exciting outreach methods like podcasts, webinars and blogger placements? If you enjoy being on the front PR line, and like the idea of having creative freedom to explore your own outreach methods, we’d love to meet you!

The role:

You’ll be working across all departments to get media mentions across as many channels as possible. This will involve established outreach methods, like our social media and Youtube channels, as well as exploring new possible strategies and leads. 

You: 

You’ll have experience in fostering strategic relations via PR outreach, as well as a good knowledge of current trends in this area. Demonstrable skills in social media, research, writing/blogging as well as presentation and communication are also essential for success in this role!

Are you up to date on current Social Media influencing trends? If you like the idea of heading up our brand’s Social Media presence, this could be the role for you!

The role:

You’ll be helping to develop Pearl Lemon’s main and sub brands through thought, leadership, content creation, design and research. You’ll also be responsible for setting and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies. 

You

You’ll have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), as well as the ability to establish brand awareness and recognition. You will be proactive, creative, a fast learner, and able to stay on top of the latest trends to help our brand stay relevant. Ideally, you’ll have SEO and WordPress experience and speak English at a Native Level.

Got a head for numbers? Eager to build on previous knowledge of R&D tax best practice? This job position is an exciting opportunity to work with our audit team and clients!

The role: 

You’ll be gathering information and explaining options for best practice to clients, as well as preparing documents for clients and for submission.. You’ll also ensure accurate and timely filing of forms, while providing support with various internal audits and tax-related projects.

You

You will be based in the United Kingdom (this is essential to the role). You’ll have a good working knowledge of, as well as experience in, R&D Tax. Alongside this, you’ll be able to research and apply restrictions for countries outside of the UK. Punctuality and communication skills are a must.

The role: 

You’ll be responsible for developing Pearl Lemon courses regarding SEO, Lead Generation, R&D Tax, Forex Research, Podcast Lead Generation and more. This will involve research, creating slide decks, delivering content across a range of media, and more.

You: 

Alongside excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), you’ll have a provable people-management track record. You’ll have a working knowledge of WordPress and SEO, and be able to conduct swift and thorough research to develop quality courses for Pearl Lemon.

The role: 

You’ll be rolling out marketing strategies across a growing number of digital platforms – with room for your own ideas in the mix. In this fast-paced, rewarding role, you’ll be creating and evolving marketing strategies for account-based targets, social media outreach, email campaigns and more. You’ll also be managing relationships with third-party suppliers and agencies. 

You

You’ll have proven experience in implementing successful marketing campaigns (measurable in R.O.I). Your communication skills (both written and verbal) will be excellent. Also, you’ll have demonstrable experience delivering engaging event management strategies – and be punctual and professional in dealings with internal staff and clients.

Pearl Lemon is on the lookout for a sales associate to work across our various businesses. If you like the idea of managing your own hours while working remotely to follow up on leads, why not get in touch?

The role: 

You’ll be selling a range of products from SEO, Lead Generation, Outsourced Sales, as well as a variety of SaaS tools.

There are no fixed working hours (although for 2 hours per day you’ll be expected to do some cold calling/prospecting). Instead, your time will be managed by your pipeline. We will generate inbound calls as well as leads (around ten per week) for you to pursue on a weekly basis.

You: 

Previous experience in Sales is a bonus, however we provide full training and support for this job role. The only non-negotiable prerequisites are availability from 9 am – 9 pm (UK time) Mon-Fri as well as 9-5 pm Sat-Sun (hours outside of 9-5 pm will be for inbound calls only). Additionally, you’ll be a Native English speaker and based in the UK (or able to operate according to UK timezone).

The role: 

You’ll be responsible for marketing and publicizing our services through various channels such as Quora, Google and Social Media. Alongside market research for selecting the best audience for our products, you’ll also hold focus groups, outline goals and develop concepts – while respecting budgets for ad campaigns.

You’ll have experience with Facebook/Google/Quora Ads. In addition, you’ll be able to uncover insights from data, and use quantitative methods to find opportunities for ad optimization. Punctuality, passion and excellent communication skills are also a must to succeed at this exciting role!

Are you a digital design enthusiast with a talent for creating ground-breaking new apps and websites? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity to build on current skills!

The role: 

Reporting to the Marketing Director and lead app developer, you’ll be a part of designing and building our web apps. Your responsibilities will include UI design, software and site audits, mock-creation, concept development, and webpage design. 

You

For this position, you’ll be familiar with UX/UI design, as well have experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Proficiency in Adobe products, WordPress, Shopify and other website building tools is also important. You’ll be a fast learner, able to communicate well with colleagues and clients, and be willing to go the extra mile.

The role:

You’ll be creating videos from scratch to post on our websites, as well as demo videos for our digital tools. Alongside this, you’ll edit and assemble existing footage, while optimising and adding additional features.

You

You’ll need a good working knowledge of editing software such as iMovie, etc. Previous experience in video editing is essential, as well as the ability to meet deadlines effectively. You’ll have excellent communication skills and be able to take constructive criticism positively.

The role: 

Your duties will include, but may not be limited to the following: you’ll work closely with management to draft contracts, review contracts made by third parties, aid in negotiations, and enforce the terms of the agreement. You will represent our brand during client communications, and act as a go-between between the company and clients to handle all aspects of legal agreements.

You’ll have provable experience (and relevant educational background) in drafting legally-binding agreements. You’ll be a Native English speaker, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You’ll build long-term relationships with customers for the length of their relationship with the company. This involves constant communication with our clients, via phone calls and emails, to address and action any needs they may have. You’ll manage our client database, updating contact information regularly. Not only that, you’ll be helping with finding business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. Other tasks include project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing.

You’ll have demonstrable experience working with clients. You’ll also be a fast learner and have the ability to streamline communications between customers and management. You’ll collaborate with product managers and tech engineers to gather and evaluate user requirements for websites or apps. You’ll be iIllustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps. You’ll also be designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets – among other things!

Previous experience in working in UX/UI design is necessary for this job role. You’ll also have a good working knowledge of all associated software, as well as the ability to clearly and efficiently communicate with our other departments. You’ll help plan and execute marketing engagement campaigns (consisting of email, webinars, videos, social media advertising, and new tactics) to promote awareness and drive sales leads. You’ll also assist in managing the B2B marketing budget and handle assigned direct reports and leads. The role may also include handling outbound and sales calls.

The role: 

You’ll work on writing clear and concise copy for ads, publications and websites. You’ll produce clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice for unique target audiences. You’ll also source images and other content, conduct research, edit and proofread copy as needed.

You’ll also need provable writing experience, excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work to deadlines. You’ll action any necessary edits swiftly and efficiently, and take care to ensure that all copy you produce is SEO-targeted to maximise lead generation.
